Class of 2029

I AM A COMPETITIVE COLLEGE ATHLETE EXCITED
TO CONTINUE TO PLAY THE GAME OF GOLF WHILE GETTING A GREAT COLLEGE EDUCATION

Hi, I'm Aidie Smith — a freshman golfer at Santa Barbara City College, a 4.0 student, and someone who's as curious about the world as I am competitive on the course.

I grew up in the Sacramento area and fell in love with golf for the same reason I fell in love with travel and learning about different cultures. It challenges you to be present, adapt to what's in front of you, and keep growing. Every round is different. Every course tells a different story.

In my first collegiate season, I competed as SBCC's #1 player in all nine Western State Conference events, finishing 3rd individually with a 77.0 adjusted scoring average and tied for second-best in the conference. I shot 76 six times and was named to the WSC All-Conference Team as a freshman. Off the course, I carry a 4.0 GPA and plan to study International/Global Studies at the four-year level. I'm fascinated by language, culture, and understanding how people around the world experience their lives.

I'm currently preparing for an exciting summer of competitive golf. I will be playing throughout California to challenge myself while I'm looking to transfer to a four-year university for the 2027–28 academic year where I can compete at the highest level while pursuing the education I care so much about.

If you're a coach, I'd love to connect. If you're just here to follow along, welcome and thanks for being part of the journey.
